| Ready for the Tour! |
It's our last full day in Hong Kong so we decided to take a Grey Line tour of Hong Kong Island. After another breakfast at McDonald's (yuck), we started out on our six hour tour (apologies to Gilligan's Island). Since we were staying in Kowloon, we decided to take the Hong Kong Island tour otherwise we wouldn't have been able to see that side of the town.

Our first stop was Man Mo Temple. We lit some incense and learned about Taoism and Buddhism all in a few short moments at the temple. Our next stop would be a little anti-climatic as the clouds completely obscured what would have been a breathtaking view of Victoria Harbor from the top of Victoria Peak. No worries though as Elyssa enjoyed the tram ride to the top.

The tour then journeyed to the southern portion of the island and stopped for lunch in Aberdeen, a former fishing village turned yacht club. We ate Dim Sum at Jumbo Kingdom, a floating restaurant in the harbor. We sat with some ladies from the Philippines a young man from Quebec, and a flight attended from Germany on her layover. I don't think anyone, except Brian, really liked the food.
The last stop of the day was Stanley Market in the southeast corner of the island. We enjoyed the little town, but were not looking to do any shopping, yet. Nancy is gearing up to hit Shamian Island next week after we get Danielle.
We are saying farewell to Hong Kong this afternoon and taking the train to Guangzhou. We'll get settled into our hotel and probably have dinner with some friends that are here from San Antonio. They are one week ahead of us and got their little girl already.
We are all nervous and excited for tomorrow when we'll get our little Danielle. Elyssa is ready to be a big sister!
